The Couples Conference 2019 Offers Attendees Fundamental and Advanced Workshops on State-of-the-Art Methods for Couples’ Counseling
PHOENIX, Ariz. – Since 1995, the Couples Conference, organized by the Milton H. Erickson Foundation in collaboration with the Couples Institute, has been a yearly continuing education event for professionals.
In 2019, the NEW Couples Conference will feature a revitalized format in which beginning and advanced workshops on five of the most important schools of couples’ therapy are presented. Sue Johnson will present the EFT Model; Ellyn Bader, the Developmental Model; Carrie and Don Cole, the Gottman Model; Terry Real, the Relational Model; and the PACT Model will be presented by Stan Tatkin.
Conference attendees will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of these five major schools of couples’ therapy, and/or attend advanced workshops of the models they select. Also featured are events in which faculty will interact, discussing the commonalities and differences of the five schools, and videos of selected cases.
This is a exceptional opportunity for mental help professionals to advance their knowledge of the state-of-the-art methods for helping couples achieve a harmonious relationship.
