William Marsh, MA, PsyD

William Marsh, MA, PsyD, is a clinical psychologist that has dedicated much of his career to providing and upholding the highest quality standards of care. In doing so, he maintains a focused private practice while being a Clinical Director and clinical supervisor with Southwest Behavioral & Health Services, and an adjunct professor with Northern Arizona University and Midwestern University in Phoenix, Arizona. He supervises doctoral interns in the largest APA-accredited internship program in the U.S., as well as postdoctoral fellows and masters level clinicians within integrated community mental health. He is on the APA Continuing Education Committee and a board member of the North Carolina Society of Clinical Hypnosis.
Over the years, Dr. Marsh has developed clinical programs for children with emotional and behavioral concerns, social emotional learning programs for youth, and group therapy programs for people with functional neurological conditions, as well as being an invited speaker to multiple agencies, conferences, podcasts, and as a guest-author for a local LGBTQ+ magazine.
In all areas of practice, Dr. Marsh integrates his years of experience working with children, adults, couples, and families into being highly adaptive and experiential. He is very transparent and believes change is inherently uncomfortable. While taking a collaborative and strategic approach, he helps his clients experience lasting change such as: craft a roadmap for success, break habits, enhance relationship dynamics, reduce conflict, explore and empower your identity, or gain a sense of mastery over life’s challenges. This is achieved by being attuned to the unique needs of the person(s) in treatment and incorporating techniques and approaches from Ericksonian Psychotherapy, psychodynamic, gestalt, and family systems orientations. Dr. Marsh has learned that there are ways to move mountains, and where there is a Will, there is a way.
